The 2021 edition of Speyside distillery Benromach’s stunning 40 Year Old dram.

This highly limited release has been aged for no less than four decades exclusively first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks. 40 years is an astonishingly long maturation in a first-fill barrel, and has made for a dram packed with flavour.

Benromach 40 Year Old serves up flavours of brown sugar and flamed orange peel, alongside cinnamon, caramel, cloves, fudgy chocolate, charred oak, toffee apple, dried fruit, brazil nuts, red grapes, leather, polished mahogany and beeswax.

Bottled at a cask strength of 57.1% ABV, just 1,047 bottles were released.
