This is quite a unique malt from the Benriach distillery, as it has been triple distilled. This triple distillation allows for a more fruity and floral spirit, which is clearly evident by the taste and aroma of the Benriach Horizons. It was firstly matured in traditional American oak bourbon barrels, before being finished in Oloroso sherry casks. In order to experience the full flavour of this whisky, it has been bottled at a sturdy 50% ABV, with no artificial colouring or chill-filtration.
