Another excellent gin from Spanish company Destilleries del Marseme.

This gin represents the Earth, with each of the “5th” series playing the part of a different element.

The gin is based upon another offering in the same line, “Black Air”, which is a straightforward juniper-driven London dry. “Earth” however, kicks things up a notch, by adding tangerine, lemon, orange and grapefruit peels to the gin, creating an intensely citrusy spirit.

The gin has then been artificially coloured to reflect the element “Earth”, and to ensure it stands out from the crowd.

Makes a bright and bracing G&T, and is excellent in gin cocktails where a little more fruity flavour is required.
