An American blended whiskey from Texan distillery Yellow Rose, that responds to the classic Canadian blends.

The Houston based distillery take their name from the Yellow Rose of Texas, a traditional song detailing Sam Houston’s (the eponym of the famous city) victory in the Texan-Mexican war.

This whiskey blends together different spirits, but contains a high proportion of Bourbon, creating a flavoursome and somewhat sweet final product. This whiskey serves up notes of rich caramel, banana, light oak, apples, cinnamon, lemon rind and a little almond.

A great mixing whiskey, this would be perfect for all manner of whiskey cocktails.
