A brilliant whisky from the most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland. Wolfburn might not be a distillery with a long history, but it has quickly gained a reputation for quality single malt.

The bottling has been matured entirely in first-fill Bourbon casks, giving the spirit a rich, creamy sweetness, perfectly balancing the mineralic, nutty and slightly waxy house-style of Wolfburn. Some floral, fruity and chocolaty flavours are also apparent, with a little oak spice.

The flavours of this whisky are all the more intense and delicious for the formidable bottling strength of 58% ABV. This dram is also natural in colour, and non chill filtered.

A youthful, yet vigorous and delicious dram, that is surprisingly easy drinking for its strength and age. A classic example of first-fill Bourbon matured single malt.
