This is an 8 year old rum from the Guatemalan distillery, Darsa. The Darsa distillery is a very unknown distillery, mostly overshadowed by the producers of Ron Zacapa and Ron Botran, Industrias Licoreras. Most rums from Guatemala are of the solera style—Obviously, that’s the not case with this single barrel bottling, which is from a bourbon barrel that was filled with spirit in 2008. 350 bottles were produced of this highly intriguing rum.
