A delicious Brandy de Jerez from esteemed producer Torres, that makes use of the famous Solera method of maturation.
Made from a base of Jerez white wine, the spirit has been distilled, then aged in a series of casks. As brandy is bottled, younger spirit tops up the cask, meaning that there is some extremely old spirit in each bottle – and perfect balance between younger and older brandies. American oak casks were used in this Solera.
The final result is a fruity, rich brandy that serves up notes of salted caramel, dried fruits, walnuts, vanilla, almond, molasses, white grapes, sultanas and light oak.
This expression has been made in tribute to Miguel Torres Carbó, who rebuilt the winey after its destruction in the Spanish Civil War of the 1930s.
