A well aged single grain whiskey from Irish distillers, Teeling.

This single grain whiskey has been made using a mash-bill of 95% corn, and 5% malted barley, and has been triple distilled in the traditional Irish fashion.

The spirit was matured initially in former Bourbon barrels, before an extra four years of finishing in ex-Bordeaux red wine casks.

The result is a fruity, sweet whiskey with notes of bright clean grain, berries, jam, vanilla, cream, apples, slight honeysuckle, pears, cherries, cinnamon, rose petal and pepper.

Bottled at 50% ABV, this is a medium bodied, fully flavoured whiskey.
