A delightful rum from Savanna distillery, found on the Isle of Réunion, in the Indian Ocean.

This is a molasses based rum made in the traditional style, and is unaged, having spent some time resting in stainless steel vats.

The final product serves up notes of orchard fruits, bananas, pineapple, barley sugar, cane, plums, creamy vanilla, brown sugar, and some soft floral flavours.

A very characterful rum, despite its lack of aging, Savanna Intense would be perfect as a base for all manner of rum cocktails.
