A 10 year old offering from the popular Panamanian brand, Malecon.

The brand takes its name from the legendary Havana street. Moreover, the rum itself is made to a traditional Cuban recipe and with Cuban methods.

The bottling begins with the finest sugar canes, sourced locally within Panama, which is then fermented and distilled before being aged in oak barrels.

The result is a bright, yet complex rum with notes of citrus zest, caramel, vanilla, all spice, brown sugar, toasted wood, bread, and milk chocolate.

Sophisticated enough to be enjoyed neat, this is also a good option for adding depth and complexity to rum cocktails.
