A beautiful, elegantly peated single malt French whisky from the Grallet-Dupic distillery’s Rozelieures range.
This whisky is made using barley grown by the Grallet-Dupic in the South West of France, which is then malted and distilled at their Lorraine-based distillery, making the distillery one of the last in Europe to maintain their own maltings.
After distillation, the spirit is aged in Sherry, Cognac and sweet wine casks, giving it a rich, fruity and sweet profile that matches perfectly with the subtle peat smoke.
Rozelieures Rare Collection offers notes of delicate peat, some floral smoke, clear honey, malt, pears, citrus rind, figs, raisins and prunes, charred wood, blackberries and nuts.
A beautifully poised whisky - with excellent interplay between peat smoke, malt and fruit from the casks.
