Another excellent selection from the Oliver and Oliver spirit importers.

A terrific Dominican rum, this spirit is rich and sweet with beautiful high notes of toffee, overripe bananas, raisins and cinnamon buns.

The spirit was matured in former Bourbon American oak barrels, giving it a fantastic vanilla flavour.

Oliver and Oliver also use a kind of solera system, with 15% of the younger barrels being fed into the older before bottling. They list the rum’s “solera age” as over 12 years.

A top quality rum, beautifully presented and equally at home in cocktails or when drunk neat.
