A very tasty offering from Panamanian rum company Abuelo.

This rum has been aged for a total of 15 years, with the final part of its maturation occurring in an Oloroso sherry cask. Oloroso, a medium dry style of sherry, which has a nutty profile.

The final result is a rum rich in dried fruits (figs, prunes and apricots especially), raisins, almonds, hazelnuts, espresso, overripe bananas, pineapple, mango, sherry, pressed flowers, molasses, yeasty brioche and dark chocolate.

An excellent cask finished rum, which illustrates the wonderful effect that sherry can have on the spirit.

This is perfect for sipping on cooler evenings.
