An excellent blend of rum agricoles from Réunion based distillery, Rivière du Mât.

This expression contains no less than five different rums, blended together for balance, consistency and complementary flavour. The rums have been made using the fresh pressed juice of the sugar cane, grown in the island’s extremely fertile volcanic soil.

The spirit has been aged for a minimum of 6 years in oak casks, with an average age of 8 years.

The result is a grassy, refreshing agricole, with flavours of dried apricot, mango, pineapple, toffee, fresh ginger, orange rind, oak, vanilla, black pepper, liquorice and tobacco leaf.

Bottled at 43% for a touch more warmth.
