One of the very best releases in the standard range of Indian distillers Paul John.

This unpeated whisky from Goa is matured in former Bourbon American oak barrels, before being bottled at a natural cask strength of 55.2% ABV.

Non age stated, the whisky is likely to be quite young – yet whisky in India matures at a much faster rate, due to the hotter climate.

The result is a tropical dram, dense with flavours of pineapples, mango and coconuts, with some nutty sugars, toasted barley, earthy spice and tannic sweet wine.
