A festive dram from Indian distillers, Paul John, who make a Christmas whisky every year.

This whisky was produced for Christmas 2020, and is made of a mixture of single malts, both peated and unpeated (though with more of the latter).

The spirit has been matured in Virgin Oak, former Bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks for around seven years, before being bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration or colouring.

The result is a complex single malt, with notes of orange peel, honey, sweet oak, plum cake, gentle peat smoke, vanilla, dark chocolate, some roasted nuts, toasted malt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and apple candies.

Definitely suitable for a yuletide celebration!
