One of the oldest spirits in our entire collection, this is a remarkable achievement from Normandin-Mercier.
This extraordinary combination of Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie is at a minimum of 70 years, with the oldest spirit dating all the way back to 1872!
The spirit has been aged in very old oak casks, resulting in ludicrously rich and opulent Cognac.
Drinkers can expect notes of rich, syrupy dried fruits, candied gingers, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, port wine, old tannic oak, cinnamon, liquorice, saffron, lime rind, honey, tobacco, sandalwood, pressed flowers, blackcurrant cordial and caramelised almonds.
Its 40% ABV has been reached without the need for dilution.
An incredibly aromatic and satisfying spirit, truly a once in a lifetime bottling.
