A “rosé” Pineau des Charentes from Normandin-Mercier.

This bottling contains a combination of two thirds freshly pressed white grape and very mature Merlot grape juice. This is added to one third of one year old Cognac, with the entire mixture aged in an oak cask for four years.

The final product is a luscious, fruity spirit, with notes of concentrated blackcurrant, blackberry and cherry, cinnamon and pepper spice, vanilla, toffee and warming oaky Cognac.

This expression is also totally organic!

Enjoy this Pineau des Charentes served chilled, as an aperitif or in place of a dessert wine.
