A very old Grande Champagne Cognac from Normandin-Mercier, a small producer based at Chateau de la Peraudiere.

This Cognac was bottled in 2021 from single cask, designated lot 80, yielding just 264 bottles at cask strength.

This is a decadent cognac with notes upfront of brownie batter, spiced apple butter, tart plum, and tangerine. Alongside the fruit is sugary oak, toasted barley, light chili and black pepper, and mole sauce. A long finish that balances on sweet and savory. Just a roller coaster of flavors.Ryan, Legacy Brandy
