This Michter’s is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey, and is bottled from just one, hand-picked barrel. Rye whisky was America’s favourite spirit a few centuries ago, but sadly went out and in of favour over the years, to almost complete not being produced more in the late 20th century and early 21st century. Luckily, rye whisky have been on the rise over the past decade, and is now at an all-time high – Michter’s is on the forefront and they are bottling some of the very finest rye whiskies around, this included!
