This bottling contains a blend of Scotch malt and grain whiskies which have enjoyed ten years of aging in first-fill American oak barrels, before a finishing period in ex-rye whiskey casks.

The use of the rye cask has lent this dram the delicious, herbaceous and spicy notes that we know and love from rye whiskey.

The final result is a dram that serves up deep notes of vanilla, oak, grain sweetness, intense cinnamon, nutmeg and treacle turn, dark chocolate, orange rind, green apple, slight mint and rye bread.
