Another superb addition to Jack Daniel’s famous Master Distiller series.
Each bottling in this collection pays homage to a different Master Distiller of the famous Tennessee whiskey. This time round it is the turn of James Howard Bedford, who left the job in 2008 under a cloud of controversy. He was famous for introducing two of Jack Daniel’s most successful bottlings, the Single Barrel and Gentleman Jack, which is twice maple filtered.
Bedford had a novel way of ensuring the consistency of his product, by sipping samples of old whiskey batches, alongside new, though he never swallowed.
A slightly lighter style of Jack Daniel’s with delicate milky banana notes, some sweet vanilla, bright oak, charred spices, caramel, milk chocolate and lightly toasted cornbread.
A top quality whiskey, that every Jack Daniel’s drinker will be keen to try.
