A simply incredible single barrel release from perhaps the whiskey world’s most famous brand. This bottling was originally designed for the travel retail market, though we have managed to get our hands on a few bottles. The whiskey is bottled at a higher strength than the normal single barrel, sitting at 50% ABV. Jack Daniel’s use only the barrels from the higher floors of the warehouse, that are warmer and thus interact with the wood more. The result is a delectable Tennessee whiskey, with the rich, bittersweet charcoal flavours we all known and love. The whiskey is produced without any artificial colouration, and in a stunning decanter-style bottle. A must try for all fans of JD.
