This limited edition release was created for the Isle of Jura’s answer to Fèis Ìle on Islay, the Tastival. The festival is a one-day event held in June, which boasts tours of the beautiful island, unique tastings and whisky masterclasses. The festival demands its own special bottling, and this is it, a stupendous Jura single malt finished in American oak former Bourbon barrels and Duoro Valley Port pipes from none over than Graham’s, owners of some of the best vineyards in Portugal and producers of some of the region’s finest Port. These casks provide Jura’s distinctively oily and slightly maritime spirit with wonderful red fruit and vanilla flavours, raising the depth and complexity of the spirit. This whisky is bottled at a cask strength of 51% ABV and without chillfiltration. Each bottle comes with a beautiful presentation box, marking the day’s festivities.
