A peatier than normal non age statement whisky from the Isle of Jura distillery.

This whisky has been aged in first-fill former Bourbon American oak casks, before a finishing period of a few months in a sherry cask.

The result is a spicy, smoky and delicious dram, with notes of barbequed fruits, Christmas spices, banana, sea spray, vanilla toffee and smoky espresso. Bottled at the higher proof of 44% ABV, this gives the flavours a little extra edge.

Another excellent whisky from this Island distillery.
