A 6 year old whiskey from Hyde, said to be produced at the famous Cooley distillery.

The whisky is named after Douglas Hyde, the first president of Ireland.

This tasty dram has been matured in rum casks, making for a sweet and approachable Irish whiskey. The cask variety certainly suits Hyde’s clean and bright triple distilled spirit, and adds plenty of dark sugar and toffee flavours.

Bottled at 46% ABV, and without chill filtration, this gives a little extra power and texture to the dram.

Bottles are limited to just 5,000 world wide.
