Highland Park is Scotland’s most northerly distillery, based in the far north island of Orkney. The 12 year old is their entry level whisky, and has been known as the “malty middle”, displaying a little bit of everything that makes whisky so enjoyable- a touch of smoke, a little barley sweetness, some bourbon vanilla. A great dram for both seasoned fans, and those starting out on their whisky journey.
