A delicious single vintage Cognac, bottled by Grosperrin.

The grapes for this Cognac were grown in the Fins Bois Cru, by a small viticulturist in the Boneville commune – exactly thesort of micro-producer that Grosperrin loves to work with.

Spirit from the 1990 harvest was stored at the ORECO (Organisation économique du Cognac) under state control, with Grosperrin purchasing the lot in 2012.

The spirit finished its maturation in the Grosperrin cellars, where it developed flavours of old white wine, nutmeg, liquorice, toffee, vanilla, waxy orange rind, ginger biscuits, toasted oak, cinnamon and creamy honey.

A magnificent Cognac, which offers a snapshot of a style rarely encountered.
