Graham’s places a great emphasis on the importance of wood to their wines, being one of very few Port companies to maintain an in-house cooperage.
This thirty year old Tawny Port is a testament to not only the skill of the cooper, but of the Master Blender too, with the bottling a product of their twin expertise.
After so long aging, the Port has a translucent, burnished rose gold colouring. This bottling offers up flavours of dried fruits, stewed berries, honey, old oak, red wine and treacle.
This wine is bottled at 20% ABV with an acidity of 4.8 g of tartaric acid per litre and a Baumé (sugar) level of 4.1.
This mellow Port is best enjoyed served slightly chilled alongside good quality chocolates.
