Founded way back in 1820, Graham’s have nearly 200 years of experience in the Port-making game, and are well known as one of the very best producers.
Graham’s sources the finest grapes to make their Port, using old vine crop from five different quintas in the Douro Valley: Quinta dos Malvedos, Quinta do Tua, Quinta das Lages, Quinta da Vila Velha and Quinta do Vale de Malhada. The final two quintas are owned and managed by the Symington family themselves (Symington also own Graham’s).
This is a port of extraordinary quality, aged for 20 years in oak casks, balancing the sweetness of the younger wine with the depth of age.
Graham’s Tawny 20 Year Old delivers flavours of dried fruits, plums, strawberries, toasted nuts, vanilla and cherries, alongside a light floral aroma.
The wine is bottled at 20% ABV, an acidity of 4.7 g/l, and a Baumé scale rating of 4.0.
The winemaking was overseen by Charles Symington.
A perfect pairing for creamy desserts such as ice cream, crème caramel or crème Brûlée.
