Tasting notes
Nose: Apple, pears, hay and vanilla straight off the bat. Sweet white wine and fresh oak- almost bourbony. Slight espresso and honey. Creamy. Succulent.
Palate: More apples, honey and white wine. A slight dryness- like pinot. Fine, acacia honey. Pears, light vanilla and some warm barley.
Finish: Medium to short, dry, slightly astringent oak. Warming and pleasing. Slight salinity.
Overall: A lovely whisky, fruity, delicate and ever so slightly dry. Sweet wine fills the background beautifully.
