An improved version of Glenmorangie’s 12 year old Quinta Ruban, which was much loved by whisky drinkers.

This dram was first matured in former Bourbon barrels for around 10 years, before being transferred to casks that had previously held Ruby Port.

The result is a terrifically rich and sweet whisky, with notes of dark chocolate, rose petal, fresh raspberries, cherries and red grapes, vanilla, Seville orange rind, cornbread, cedar wood, slight creamy coffee, raisins, dessert wine and wine tannins.

This whisky is bottled at 46% ABV, for a little more intensity, and without colouration – highlighting the natural ruby redness of the Port cask.
