Batch 9 of Glengoyne’s popular cask strength bottling.

This dram has been matured in one third first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, two third refill casks, and a small number of bourbon barrels.

The end result is a richly fruity whisky, with notes of malty biscuits, plums, hazelnuts in chocolate, apples, sticky toffee pudding, cinnamon, black pepper, dates, apricots, floral honey, raisins, sherried oak and lemon rind.

Bottled at a fiery 59.6% ABV, this is a full bodied and assertive whisky.
