Another delightful seasonal gin from the good folk over at Glendalough.
Like the other bottlings in this series, the gin is produced with seasonal, foraged botanicals found in County Wicklow, Ireland.
Autumn is, after all, the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, and Glendalough has produced a decidedly fruity gin, using botanicals of juniper, crab apple, watermint, ground ivy and yarrow.
The result is a pleasantly fruity and herbal gin which fully captures the season of Autumn. Robust with berry sweetness, notes of menthol and pine, touches of apple, a little freshly cut grass and some warm spice.
A crisp and delicious Irish gin.
