A lovely 18 year old bottling that perfectly illustrates the qualities of Glencadam’s flowery single malt.
Despite having been around for about 200 years, Glencadam is one of those distilleries that is often overlooked. Releases like this bottling suggest this will not be the case for much longer.
This whisky offers up beautiful flavours of baked apples, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla, cinnamon, toffee, orchard fruits, pressed flowers, gentle oak, cream, a little mint, banana bread, marmalade, and maple syrup. The finish offers a rich, deep chocolaty note.
A classic example of the Speyside style, this is delicious, old school whisky.
The bottling is presented at 46% ABV and without chill filtration or colour, this is a thick and flavoursome dram.
