A bottle which marks a momentous milestone for this distillery. This distillery, which has a history of nearly 200 years, was mothballed by Allied Domecq in the year 2000. The distillery was then purchased and reopened by Angus Dundee. This whisky was released to celebrate 13 years since the distillery reopened, hence the name “the Reawakening”. The whisky itself is a delectable Highland single malt. Whilst there are older whiskies available from Glencadam, they contain spirit produced before the Angus Dundee takeover. This whisky is none chill filtered and bottled without any artificial colouration. The Reawakening is presented at a warming 46% ABV, allowing its vanilla-rich flavours to take hold. Only 6,000 bottles of this limited release are available, so fans of Glencadam should move fast if they want to try this historic dram!
