Another excellent addition to Glen Moray’s superb Elgin Heritage range. This series aims to celebrate the distillery’s history at the heartland of the Speyside region, whilst presenting their spirit in a drinkable and enjoyable fashion.

This particular bottling is a fantastic 18 year old dram, which has been matured in first fill American oak casks. This is an excellent choice of cask aging for Glen Moray’s supple and sweet spirit, giving it well-rounded vanilla, spice and toffee flavours. Notes of warm malt, ginger, apples and pears are present throughout, marking this out as a classic Speysider.

Once again, Glen Moray shows itself to be one of the most enjoyable, versatile and approachable whiskies on the market. This bottling is extraordinary value for money for an 18 year old. Top quality stuff.
