Here at Fine Drams, we rank the Nicaraguan rum producers Flor de Cana as one of our very favourite producers of the spirit. They make a unique sweet-yet-dry spirit that we just cannot get enough of. This is a fine example of their excellent produce, a delightful aged white rum, which has spent 4 years in oak casks, before being filtered to remove colour. This is one of our recommended go-to white rums for budding bartenders, with its crisp, clear and slightly spiced dry sugar cane flavours providing a superb base for the creation of cocktails. This rum won a Gold Medal at the 2017 International Rum Conference, held in Madrid.
