FEW Spirits has the dubious acclaim as being made in what was the centre of the American Temperance Movement. Evanston endured prohibition for over 100 years, but FEW have quickly made up for lost time, producing an enormous variety of spirits and whiskies since their foundation in 2011. In an ironic twist, the distillers take their name from the initials of Frances Elizabeth Willard, one of the leaders of the temperance movement.
FEW have a dedication to craft production and quality, and this is demonstrated by their approach to producing this fantastic gin. Unlike most gins, which are produced using neutral grain spirits, or a kind of vodka, this gin is made using unaged bourbon (or white whiskey). This gives the gin a thicker texture, and a delicious sweet character. Another wonderful spirit from a distillery at the forefront of the American craft distilling movement.
