A fascinating gin from the Asahikawa distillery.

This gin is made using water drawn from the Pacific ocean, which is used in the distillation process.

The spirit is macerated with botanicals including yuzu and Japanese bitter orange for 22 hours prior to distillation, producing a more intensely flavoured final product.

The use of ocean water produces a subtle iodine flavour in the spirit, which matches perfectly with notes of sweet yuzu and bitter orange, rooty juniper, liquorice, spice and pine resin.

Makes an excellent martini.
