Probably the only whisky designed to be enjoyed alongside a cigar, the aptly named Cigar malt is a delicious whisky, whether you’re a smoker or not. This is the second incarnation of the expression, after Dalmore caused a bit of panic amongst whisky drinkers by discontinuing the Cigar malt in 2009. Happily, this sequel has actually improved in quality, with older whiskies making up the vatting. This is in many ways a typical Dalmore, orange and coffee notes interplay with rich sherry fruits and cinnamon, and of course, a hint of tobacco smoke- as is only right.
