First introduced in 2008, this highland whisky is aged for 9 years in bourbon American oak casks, then 50% is finished for another 3 years in Oloroso sherry casks. This process leaves Dalmore 12 as a pleasantly sweet and nutty whisky, with a strong coffee character and plenty of typical Dalmore thickness. Citrus rind on the finish ensures this expression is one of the richest 12 year old whiskies around.
