A big, 1 litre bottling of this must-try spirit. Known as the “toast of Paris”, Courvoisier cognac has a history stretching back nearly 200 years. Over the years Courvoisier have had several notable drinkers, including Emperor Napoleon and Gustave Eiffel.
This particular bottle of Courvoisier is created from grapes grown in the four finest Crus: Grand Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fine Bois. As this is a VS Cognac, it has been aged for a minimum of 2 years in French oak casks.
This Cognac has an excellent balance between the notes of the spirit and the notes of the cask, with beautiful grape notes offset by flavours of vanilla, oak and toffee. Perfect for drinking both before and after dinner, this is a spirit that everyone should try.
