Another wonderful bottling from one of the best rum distilleries in the world. This a VSOP rum from Martinique, but it is no run-of-the-mill rum, having being first matured in virgin French oak casks, before being matured for a further three years in charred bourbon casks. A glorious rum, with rich, grassy agricole notes, alongside delicious aromatic fresh vanilla flavours. Deep and complex beyond its years, this rum has been recognised by several experts and panels: awarded a huge 96 out of 100 points from the Wine Enthusiast magazine and being given a Gold medal from the Beverage Tasting Institute.
