A beautiful, long aged rhum agricole from Rhum Clément.

This is a classic Agricole, made not with molasses or other sugars by-products, but with the fermented juice of the sugar cane itself.

Aged in a mixture of recharred and virgin oak casks for 15 years at Habitation Clément, Martinique, the rum has taken on a tremendous depth and complexity of flavour.

This rum opens notes of apple pastries and rich dried fruit, before classic Clément notes of pressed flowers and mocha come to the fore. These are followed by touches of charred oak, vanilla, cinnamon, and brightening virgin oak. A long finish of cedarwood and creamy honey follows.

Clément 15 year old is bottled at 42% for a little more intensity.

A perfect example of a long aged rum.
