A fascinating gin release from the City of London distillery.
This gin honours one of the men who shaped the London we know today, Sir Christopher Wren. Wren designed many of London’s best known buildings, most notably St. Paul’s Cathedral, considered his masterpiece and found on the City of London labels. Indeed, the bottle’s shape now takes its cue from the dome of the famous Cathedral.
The gin is of a quality befitting the old master, having been made in collaboration with Tom Nichol, former Tanqueray Master Distiller.
Only five botanicals were used, giving the spirit superb concentration of flavour. This gin offers up notes of rich waxy citrus rind, earthy spice, piney juniper, liquorice and some aromatic forest floor.
A gin that would work brilliantly as a cocktail allrounder. Use this whenever you fancy a gin cocktail.
