City of London Distillery’s take on this historic style of gin – closely associated with the English capital.

Originally, this sweeter gin category was created by distillers as a means of covering up their poor quality spirit. In addition to sugar, strongly flavoured spices and botanicals were added for flavouring.

These days, Old Tom is a speciality gin in its own right, with expression’s like City of London’s demonstrating its potential as a high quality spirit.

Made with botanicals including juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, orris root, lemon peel, orange peel and cassia bark.

The final product is a supple and pleasantly sweet gin, with notes of rich earthy spice, citrus peel, cinnamon bark, forest floor, bittersweet juniper and fresh berries.

A gin perfect for use in cocktails.
