With a history dating all the way back to 1608, the Bushmills distillery is one of the oldest distilleries in Ireland, if not the whole world. As is customary with most Irish whisky, this whisky is, of course, triple distilled, ensuring the classic, light and fruity style. This whisky is made from a mix of malt and grain whiskies, of which a big proportion is aged in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. This lends assertive, soft vanilla notes to the fruitiness of their spirit – a lovely combination!
