A simply magnificent bottling of Bruichladdich from Signatory Vintage’s Cask Strength Collection.

The whisky was distilled in September 1990, and bottled in March 2018, having ged for a massive 27 years in a single refill sherry butt. During such a long maturation, this Bruichladdich has developed tonnes of richness and flavour.

Drinkers can expect notes of rich oaky rancio, dark oak, prunes, figs, dried grapes, black pepper, tobacco smoke, dark chocolate, caramelised orange peel, a little grapefruit, toasted spice and red wine.

The spirit is bottled at cask strength 55.5% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouration, allowing the full flavours of this sumptuous dram to be enjoyed.

Just 503 bottles were produced.
