This is the first 8 year old whisky released from the Bruichladdich distillery on Islay. Its maturation in American and European oak cask makes it delightfully fresh and vibrant with a healthy dose a fruitiness. Despite this being a travel-retail exclusive bottling, we got lucky and secured and small amount. Fans of the distillery’s more recent work should not miss out on this.
